- This picture is my latest art piece I am in the process of making!
- I have shapes I have used are flowers and ovals.
- My inspiration was off my Art teachers art blog! And I saw a lot of flowers I really liked and wanted to draw myself.
- My first problem with this piece was the size of the peddles on the flower. I am going to be doing a different flower that consist on 6 peddles and looks a bit more different than this picture.
- My work's meaning is the pacific culture! Which I am really excited to do since I'm am a part of that culture myself. The message for everyone that views my blog is that we should all try draw a at piece of any & every culture.
- I am really enjoying drawing the outlines of my artwork since it makes my art a lot more bolder. I could work on fixing the shape of it.
- I have learned not all shapes are square like and have straight sides and angles. And there are a lot of oval like shapes and diamond ones that are super cool.

My Audience
We are learning to create a positive digital footprint.
We often share personal information when we are online. The people we share with could be our friends and family or people we don't know.
High Impact
Pull:
We didn't use the force pull in our marble as much as you could, the force pull means you're pulling something towards you. Without pull we couldn't get things to us or move a object for your self for someone else. e.g my mum asked me if I could help her pull the mattress to the other side of the room where we were.
Air Resistance:
This force is what slows something down while being in the air! Which means that you won't be going to fast down in the air. e.g I went sky diving the other day and I didn't go down towards the ground quite fast, because of the Molecules in Air Resistance.
Balanced Forces:
Balanced forces mean that a object that is moving will keep moving in that same motion and a object that is completely still will say that way. Our marble run did exactly that, our pieces/course stay completely still to hold our marble while its constantly moving down the track!!
Motion:
Is a simple force which means that objects are moving all the time in motion. e.g our marble stayed in Motion while on our marble run track. Without motion there would be no sort of thing as movement. Without Motion we don't have any movement which would make things worthless.

Push:
Push is the force we use when we are trying to push something open. Push, the force is when your using your energy to push something away from you. e.g when you open the door for someone that's when you use the force push! Without the force push in this world average humans couldn't move anything.
Gravity:
Gravity is what pulled our marble run down into the centre of the Earth! e.g our marble run when from a high gravity to low gravity which meant our marble was rolling downwards towards the middle of the Earth! That helped us with speed and length.

Kinetic Energy:
This sort of force is when it collects and gathers all of its energy while the marble is rolling down towards the bottom. It gathers a lot of force when it is going around bends or swirls because unlike straight pieces those S shaped ones should have more energy to collect only because its not as fast as a straight piece.

Accelerate:
Accelerate is a force that means what pieces of your marble run made your marble move faster. By adding lots of pieces to our marble run it made the marble speed up, when it collected that energy rolling down.

Force:
We need force to make objects move. It could either be push or pull. Force can make things speed up or slow them down. e.g if you saw your little brother having a hard time trying to push a toy train, you would go and help him try to push that train and when you push that train down the track that's called force.Your using force by pushing is toy train along!
Friction:
Friction is what cores a object to stop while moving. Friction is when a objects force is rubbing across the surface that its on, which normally makes it slow down or stop. e.g when your in a car and your trying to go up a steep road, but your car is getting up there because of the friction on the ground and the stones can stop this car.

Potential Energy:
Potential Energy is the energy that you give it by adding pieces that bend and swirl so it collects up speed as its going. e.g say you were adding pieces to a marble run! Adding more bending and swirling pieces will gather up speed which helps the marble go faster and faster while rolling on the course.

Unbalanced Force:
Is a object that is not moving and stays completely still. And its also a object is moving and stays at the speed. Which is how they are both balanced forces.
Forces that change the motion of a object are called Unbalanced Forces!

Recap of my term 1 art work!
Recap of my artwork 2017 term 1!
First I drew some superheroes faces. I think that I did a pretty good job on these since I don't really draw in my spare time!

The second drawing I did was a iron man face. I actually really liked this sketch and I still do. I think I could of made it bolder so it really popped out.
The last drawing I did for last term was a remake sketch and is now painted of Lake Ellesmere. I didn't like how this came out because the shape of the lake is shaped for like a fish for instanced.

My first weeks in 8Mt
I have really enjoyed being in 8Mt so far, I like it because I have a lot of my friends in this class. Plus a lot of other pairs I have met! We have been working on Reading, Writing, Maths and Kete plus other activities.
So far in reading we have been doing a bunch of reading tasks which means we have to break the story down. And put it into character webs and other things like how I thought about the story and interesting news reports.
For writing the whole class had to write on how a orangutan looked and felt in the picture. And then we had to give feedback and our thoughts who we coached!I have really enjoyed this process.
For maths we have been given heaps of tasks sheets we have to full out that include things like pie graphs and stem and leaf graphs!
In kete we have been learning about Kupe and the giant Wheke, and later on some other Maori legends. I enjoy this because I get to learn a lot about the Maori culture.
